Join Design Team Expert Wendy Sue Anderson today as she shares a tip on how to add "bling" to any project. Look for additional ways to dress up your patterned paper and stickers to create a look that's entirely "YOU!"
Hi, Echo Park friends! Have you ever finished a layout and felt like it just needed a little “something?” That’s what happened to me when I finished this layout. I had so much fun mixing and matching lots of patterned papers from this colorful collection, but it still just didn’t feel finished. That’s when I decided to add a bit of “bling” to the stoplight. It was a natural place to add some sparkly jewels. I liked it so much, I decided to go a step further and add some colored jewels to the circle patterned paper. I mixed and matched different brands/shades of stick-on jewels and placed them in the center of the circles. It was really easy and didn’t change the overall look or feel of my layout, but it felt more interesting and fun to me. Next time you find yourself looking at a project, thinking it just needs a little something, try adding some stick on jewels (or buttons or brads) to some of the patterned paper and embellishments. I bet you’ll love it!
Can you think of additional ways to use this technique? Have you tried it with Echo Park Paper products? We'd love to see it! Simply share your creations on our Facebook page so we can see what you've been making!
