Today Kandis Smith shares a few cards that you could easily recreate for Valentine's Day. Kandis has an eye for details and adds sweet embellishments like vintage lace and pearls to many of her designs. Little details like these can really dress up a card. Here are the cards she created for you today which feature the "Love Story" collection:
"I Love You Card"
This collection is so fun. There are so many different patterns to mix and match. I decided to pair up the black zebra striped paper with some pink floral paper. Then I added the chipboard bird over the top of a kraft tag. I love the sparkle that those gem brads give it!
Supplies:
Love Story "Wild About You" Patterned Paper
Love Story Alpha Stickers
Love Story Brads
Love Story Chipboard Accents
Kraft Cardstock (Carta Bella Paper)
Machine Stitching
Pearls
Twine
"Call Me Card"
How cool is this Leopard print paper? I almost died when I saw it! I wanted it to be the main focus paper of the card so I didn't layer any other patterns over top. I used the heart doily sticker and topped it with the chipboard phone. The little alpha stickers made it easy to create a little Valentine's sentiment: "Call me." It's just like a conversation heart!
Supplies:
Love Story "Leopard Print" Patterned Paper
Love Story Element Stickers
Love Story Chipboard Accents
Love Story Alpha Stickers
Love Story Brads
Twine
Corner Rounder
"Bicycle Built for Two Card"
I wanted this card to have more of a vintage-girly feel to it. I used the pale pink patterned paper and some light kraft cardstock for the base. The bicycle sticker has the matching sentiment stickers to go with it. I thought they would look so cute on this card! Then I placed the floral sprig slightly underneath the bicycle for a feminine look.
Love Story Element Stickers
Love Story "My Love" Patterned paper
Love Story brads
Kraft Cardstock (Carta Bella Paper)
Twine
Machine Stitching
Photo Corners
You could make this as a card set for a friend or send them out individually. There are so many things you can create with the beautiful "Love Story" collection kit.

I love these cards. So pretty. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

One of the first images I saw from this collection was actually on the Silhouette site. It was the tandem bicycle (I love that thing!). That's when I knew I wanted this paper. Your cards are making me want it even more, they are adorable!
