Hello everyone! Are you planning your vacation yet? We always start looking into our options around this time of year. As we start to talk about our next trip, we like to discuss our past favorite locations.
It’s Anya here today, and I would like to share a double page layout I created with the Let’s Cruise collection. When I’m working on two page layout, I like to connect two base papers and create as if it was one long canvas. Here, after getting all the layers down, I cut the layout into two 8.5 x 11 pages and then added photos and embellishments.
I love adding some tone-on-tone effects to the “empty spaces” on the layout. I simply cut five circles with Stitched Circle Nesting Die Set using the smallest die. This effect doesn’t make it look too busy, yet that space doesn’t feel empty anymore.
I love using die cut elements on my layouts and for this page I also used the Seashells Designer Die Set with two different tones of cream cardstock to create this cluster of shells and enamel dots, reminding me of the beach. I hope I’ve inspired you to pull out some of your favorite vacation photos and scrap those summer memories!
