Design Team Expert Nancy Damiano shares the "behind the scene" story for this layout. When designing your layouts, think beyond typical journaling and share as much of the backstory as possible.
I remember taking these photos on a complete whim five years ago. While trying to pack his suitcase, my son kept crawling over and taking all of the clothes out so he could climb in. While packing with a one year old underfoot was challenging, I am so glad that I took the time out to snap these photos. They were perfect for preserving the memory of his first airplane ride. I like these almost more than the ones of him in the actual airplane. They tell a story from a different perspective and also highlight his age and size (so tiny). The fun, colorful icons in the "Enjoy the Ride" Mini Collection were perfect for these "travel before the actual trip" page.
