Do you have trouble selecting which photos to put on your page? Follow Design Team Expert Kandis Smith's ideas for taking and adding photos to any layout.
Hi, everyone! So today we have a fun layout I made with some smaller photos on an 8.5" x 11" page. I've been trying to do Project 365 (where you take a picture each day). I wanted to highlight some of my favorite photos from the month and came up with these four of my favorites. I numbered them 1-4 just for the order they were taken in the month. Also I really like the graphic look that numbers give my pages. They are so fun to play with.
Numbering your photos can be so fun and used for so many purposes! Here's a couple ideas:
-Showing progression. For example, a sequence of shots of someone jumping off of a diving board, a diet plan/fitness plan in progression for a couple weeks, a flower going from bud to bloom, or even the progression of a child getting older or a puppy getting older.
-Ranking. Use numbers to rank your favorite photos of the month. Put all your pictures on a layout for the month and then number your favorites in order: 1-favorite, 2-second favorite, etc.
-Daily Routine. Label the pictures in order so that people can see what you start your day doing and then what you end your day doing.
These are just a few ideas for numbering your photos. There are so many cool ideas out there for using numbers, even just as a really cool accent to a page or card.Supplies:
