Photo Freedom Volume 1 with Linda Auclair

Today Design Team Expert Linda Auclair shares her tips and tricks for using the Photo Freedom system. This system of memory keeping allows you to added divided page protectors to your current albums or to document your memories on a daily or weekly basis.

Have you been bitten by the Photo Freedom divided page bug yet? I am a total convert and have been enjoying how quickly and easily my pages go together using the system. One of my favorite collection kits that Echo Park has released (so far) has got to be the Photo Freedom Volume 1 collection.  In addition to the kit which contains a selection of the divided pages to choose from, Echo Park Paper has released a companion collection of Designer Solids to allow you to stretch your kit even further.

For my fun beach spread, I found the perfect sentiments perfectly sized to personalize and slip into the sleeves. I used stickers from the collection, a twist of baker’s twine, a rainbow of bullet-point rhinestones, and a twine-tied button to add simple flair to my photos and the pre-printed blocks. For a playful touch, I popped up a speech bubble sticker with foam tape to personalize my seagull photo. 

The pockets are roomy enough to accommodate embellishments, as well as, ephemera and found objects, which makes it the perfect system to use for travel pages. You can create beautiful pages in minutes to preserve your precious memories and free up time to go and make more memories.

Card Sketch with Wendy Sue Anderson

Please welcome Design Team Expert Wendy Sue Anderson to the blog today. Wendy Sue shares a darling card featuring the "Scoot" collection. We've also provided a sketch for you to use if you choose to recreate the card. Read through her tips for creating a similar card.

With a home full of little boys plus loads of nephews, not to mention cute little friends and neighbors, it seems I’m often in need of a card for a boy. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when I first saw this line. It’s absolutely perfect for little boys! I made this simple card using a few different patterned papers, a journaling card, and a few little stickers. I know I’ll be using this same design to whip up a handful of these sweet little boy cards to have in my stash ready and waiting to share with some of the sweet little boys in my life!

Photo Freedom with Laurel Seabrook

Today Design Team Expert Laurel Seabrook shares her tips and tricks for using the Photo Freedom system. This fabulous system works for daily or weekly memory keeping, as well as, for documenting memories throughout the year.

I finally took the plunge and decided to take on the Photo Freedom craze. I love scrapping the everyday moments, and the Photo Freedom collections make it so easy. First thing that I do is decide on which photo sleeves I want to use then I print out my pictures accordingly. I lay the photos down on the corresponding pockets and then create each one individually, like a card or mini layout so that it is not overwhelming. My favorite cards and layouts have layers, twine, stamping/die cuts. The same is true with some of my Photo Freedom pockets, I always love the ones that include bits of "me."

A Layout Sketch with Susan Stringfellow

Hi everyone, this is Susan Stringfellow, and I have a layout and sketch for you today using the super fun "Scoot" Collection. I had SO much fun creating this layout. You will just love all the great primary colors of this collection, and they will go perfectly with children's clothes and toys in your photos. "Scoot" also has the most fun words and phrases in the paper and stickers to jump start your layout. I had this great photo and when I saw the "choo choo" paper, and the "Right on Track" and train stickers in the collection the whole theme of the layout just came together. Of course, I had to make a little track by cutting strips of the solid blue paper, so that the train could ride on top. I also wanted some train flags, so I used a toothpicks and cut flag shapes, using adhesive foam tape under them for dimension, and grounding them with a cute round train sticker and some coordinating twine for a bow. Just that little bit of detail and dimension, adds a playful aspect to the page with my little friend, Corey.
