In today's blog post, Design Team Expert Kandis Smith uses the same card design to create two cards: one with the "Bundle of Joy: Boy" collection and one with the "Bundle of Joy: Girl" collection. Because these collections are meant to be mixed and matched, you can use the same card design as many times as you'd like. Read through Kandis's instructions for additional tips and tricks!
Instructions:
1.) Create card bases, rounding the corners. Cut a
rectangle of patterned paper slightly smaller than the card front. Round
the corners and trace a circle onto it. Cut out.
2.) Adhere the patterned paper to the card
front with foam adhesive. Turn the circle you cut out over and adhere
with opposite pattern showing through. Place the chipboard elephant/sheep stickers in
the circle.
3.) Cut out two pennants banners from the girl and the
boy patterned papers. Stamp the sentiment on one strip and adhere to the card as
shown. Tie jute into a bow and adhere to the pennant. Add chipboard buttons
or stars to each card.
