Hi everyone, Susan here with some sunshine ideas. I know you
guys are ready for some sunny springtime pages, right? I created this layout using the super springy
"Sweet Girl" collection; and the elements like the tree, clothes line,
and hot air balloon were just asking for a sunshine. I knew that I wanted to
use this little "My Girl" chipboard element, and it's a great size to
become a sunshine. Any small round, square, or oval shape makes a great
sunshine if you just add some sun rays.

For the sun rays, I
chose the 6x6" pad because the smaller scale yellow prints were cuter for the
sunshine. I cut two widths from 2 of the yellow patterned papers and hand cut
wedges, as shown below, until I had enough of each to alternate around the
chipboard piece. By attaching just the smaller end of each ray, I was able to
bend the wide end upward. It's also fun to put adhesive foam tape behind the fold for a bit of
dimension. Try using other small shapes to create a sunshine. Think how cute the
gear from "All About a Boy" collection would be on a boy page.
