If you’re looking for a quick and easy holiday gift, this project is for you! I used a 4.5" “paint can” style container from the hobby store and embellished it with border stickers, Baker’s Twine and patterned paper. Add some sparkle with self-adhesive rhinestones, fill with small gifts, and you are good to go. This is a perfect project to do “assembly line” fashion with your children for teacher gifts, or for school gift exchanges. In keeping with the cozy theme fuzzy socks, flavored cocoa, chocolates, and perhaps a gift card are perfect giftables that won’t strain your holiday budget.
Materials Needed
Clear plastic “paint can” style container
Echo Park Paper’s “Keepin’ Cozy” Elements Sticker Sheet
Echo Park Paper’s “Keepin’ Cozy," and “Journaling Cards” Patterned Paper
Baker’s Twine
Self-Adhesive Rhinestones
Hole Punch
Foam Tape
Gifts to fill container
Instructions
1. Apply border stickers to container, and embellish with a self-adhesive rhinestone.
2. Trace the container lid onto the “Journaling cards” paper and cut out. (Be aware of where you are cutting so you don’t destroy the journaling card that is being used for the tag that is printed on the reverse.)
3. Adhere the cut circle to the lid, and embellish it with a snowflake sticker, using foam tape for added dimension.
4. Trim the journaling block from the “Journaling cards” patterned paper. Fold in half and punch a hole in the corner. Add the “Snowlicious” sticker.
5. Wrap the container with baker’s twine, and attach the gift tag.
6. Fill the container with small gifts for a sweet gift for teachers, co-workers, or even for a gift exchange.
