One of the many things I love about Echo Park collections is the cut-apart journaling cards that come with each one. Journaling cards are so versatile and easy to use on just about any project—you can use them for journaling, layering, Photo Freedom layouts, cards, and more.
This scrapbook page came together in no time with the Walking on Sunshine Journaling Cards. I used the Teal Pink solid paper as a background and added some tan ink splatters to dress it up a bit.
After cutting apart all the journaling cards from the Going Places patterned paper, I distressed the edges of them and then added them to my page with my photos block style. Allowing some of the cards to “bleed” off the page increases the visual interest of the block design.
I embellished each card using Designer Dies, Decorative Brads, and Element Stickers. Then I added some hand journaling using my brown Sharpie fine point pen to match the brown in the collection.
