Hello! Rachael here, to show you how to create a great baby shower gift using Echo Park Silhouette shapes. I wanted to make some onesies for a friend who is having a boy, so I chose two shades of blue flocked transfer material. I think this same design would be just as cute using girl colors, or yellow and green for a gender neutral gift. The trick is to use two different colors for a more complex and interesting design.
After cutting all of the pieces, I ironed on the first layer. Once the first layer was finished, I added the second layer directly on top of the first layer of transfer material.
For the final touch, I used the smooth black glitter heat transfer for the eyes. I like how this makes the eyes sparkle!
To create the words, I used the fonts Lobster and LW Friendly. However, you can download the words for free by clicking HERE for "'Lil Squirt" and HERE for "Wild Thing"! Remember that all images need to be reversed before cutting out of heat transfer material. I’ve already reversed the words for you, so all you need to do is cut!
Remember, you're not limited to baby themes with this technique - consider the possibilities with ALL of our Silhouette Shapes HERE!
Enjoy!
