Hello Echo Park Paper Fans! Holly here from Ribbons & Glue sharing Wood Sailboats made with the Beach Party Mini Themed Kit and Echo Park Silhouette Shapes. Beach Party is such a fun an colorful kit! Perfect to scrapbook beach photos, decorate for a beach party or just to add some beach themed decor around you house. I grew up in Southern Florida so this Mini Kit really makes me miss the beach. I definitely took my easy access to the beach for granted growing up but I also have the Sun Spots to show for it.
The Wood Sailboats are cut from a piece of old pallet wood. I drilled a hole in the middle of the base and hot glued a dowel in to the center to use as the mast. I then used my Silhouette to cut out the sail part of an Echo Park Sail Boat cut file.
Each boat is embellished with Beach Party patterned papers, Stickers Accents and Enamel Dots.
These little Wood Sailboats would make great Beach Party centerpieces or you could even make a smaller version and use them as place settings.
Echo Park Paper has many Silhouette Shapes to choose from in the Silhouette Store and sometimes only using part of the cut file is all you need to create something unique.
