Journal cards are a great go-to when it comes to cardmaking. Today’s card focuses on layering a smaller and larger journal card together to fill up this 5X7 card. A card of this size will allow several family members room to write their own personal note!
Using the beautiful papers and stickers from the “Our Family” Mini Theme, I started by cutting out the 4X6 journal card. The 3X4 journal card’s edges were corner-rounded before adding to the center of the larger journal card with foam adhesive.
The 3X4 card was embellished with a die-cut heart (using the Heart Die Set). The “so happy together” circle sentiment was punched from the “Our Family Words” paper and added to the center of the heart. The heart over the “i” was trimmed from the ‘family’ sticker and replaced with a larger heart sticker that was attached to the top of the heart, along with a chipboard bird from the “Bundle of Joy Boy Collection”.
