Hello! Tegan here today showing you a fun way to use stamps to really make a statement on your next layout! I used the jolly and fun The Story of Christmas collection and its coordinating Believe stamp set. I loved this collection the second I saw it. And I love it even more after creating with it! I must admit that stamps are another crafting element that has intimidated me and I usually pushed them aside. Not anymore! I had so much fun creating this layout and I love how it all came together. Stamps just might be my new favorite crafting technique!
Here is an easy tutorial on how I made the fun stamped portion of my layout.
1. Cut twelve 2" x 3" rectangles from the solid cream paper.
2. Use coordinating ink color to stamp random star pattern onto 4 of the rectangles. I used Hero Arts Soft Pool.
3. Finish stamping the remaining rectangles with the ornaments, snowman, snowflake, candy cane, and tree stamps. I used Stampin' Ups Garden Green, Riding Hood Red, and Soft Suede.
4. Lay out the pattern of your rectangles to your liking before you adhere them in place. It's that easy!
I love all of the images in this stamp set. The trees are so whimsical and the ornaments are so much fun. But I think the snowman is my favorite. He is so cute!
The Story of Christmas is perfect for documenting all of your holiday photos!
Thanks for joining us today. I hope I have inspired you to have fun with stamps on your next layout!
