Shellye here today with a sweet set of kitty cards to share with your favorite cat lover! I’ve used the brand new “Meow” Collection and Designer Dies.
For the first card I cut the journal card from the “Journaling Cards” paper and corner rounded the edges. Next, I used the Kitty Die Set to cut a cat silhouette from the paper.
I also cut the same cat shape from Side B of the “Kitty Stripe” Paper. A mat of paper 1/2” larger than the journal card was cut from the “Kitty Plaid” Paper. The journal card was added to the top of the mat paper with foam adhesive tape.
The black die-cut cat was glued to the center of the cut-out shape and embellished with the other pieces from the Designer Die set. The sentiment from the “Pretty Kitty” Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo ink. A strip of the border sticker was added to the bottom along with a ribbon bow.
The second card focused more on the cute artwork on the journal card and was then accented with the cat facial features and ears from the “Cat’s Meow” Designer Die Set.
To the bottom of the sentiment, a row of hearts was added. The heart is a part of the same “Cat’s Meow” die set. Foam adhesive was used on every-other heart to add dimensional interest.
For the kitty’s nose, I used a large, pink enamel dot.
