Hello everyone, Anya here today to share a simple idea for a mini book that you can give as a little present to someone you love. My in-laws live a thousand miles away form us and since we don’t see each other very often, they love looking through photos of their grandchildren. A few times I sent those photos in the form of a mini book and each time it was so greatly appreciated!
To make this project, I used “Flora №1” collection by Carta Bella Paper. These lovely floral prints remind me of my mother-in-law and inspired to create a little gift of memories.
For the base of my album, I used 4 x 4 cards from the collection and a few extra pieces of pattern paper cut to the same size. I adhered all of these cards to 4.25 pieces of white cardstock and stitched each piece around the perimeter. To some of the cards I added ephemera, stickers or journaling.
To make a box, you can use an electronic die cutting machine, or a simple scoring board. I used white cardstock for the base of my box and covered each panel with pattern paper, leaving a tiny white border. You may decorate the lid with ribbon, flowers and leaves like I did here. For the leaves, I used solid papers by Echo Park and Autumn Leaves Designer Die Set .
To finish the mini album I used small ring to hold the album pages together and decorated the cover page with Enamel Dots and rhinestones.
To create this mini album in a box, I used following products:
Rose Garden Bouquet pattern paper
Rose Garden Journaling Cards pattern paper
Rose Garden Wreath pattern paper
Petunia Patch Journaling Cards pattern paper
Petunia Patch Garland pattern paper
Petunia Patch Bundle pattern paper
Flora №1 Alpha Stickers
Flora №1 Ephemera
Autumn Leaves Designer Die Set
Metal ring, ribbon, flowers and rhinestones.

Hello Echo Park Fans! Tya Smith here and I am thrilled to be here with you on the blog today with my first ever Design Team Expert post! Today I wanted to share with you a fun card using the amazing Everyday Memories line.
What a fun line this was to work with! It really is a great line filled with numerous different everyday icons and themes like phones, globes typewriters and many other cute designs. I decided to send someone a friendly little "Hello" with this card. To start with I made a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card base with some cardstock. I cut apart the Journaling Cards paper and chose 2 of the cards I wanted to work with. I chose the black days of the week card and the pink notes card. I then chose one of the cards that I wasn't going to use and flipped it over to the icon side on the back. I used a piece of 4 x 4 1/4 piece of that paper for the top section. I then cut a 1 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch piece of the cork board side of the Days of the Month paper for the bottom section. I glued the black journaling card to the card base so the words were covered and just the plain black edge was showing. Using some pop dots, I then added the pink Notes journaling card to the card front.
Next I added some stickers to the card from the Sticker Sheet. I used the Hello Tag, the Season banners, the pencil and 3 star circles to the card. The Hello tag has pop dots for dimension and a fun enamel dot for decoration.
To finish off the card I cut a banner shape from the top portion of the typewriter journaling card and added it to the bottom of my card. I added a black button and some pink twine tied behind it. I added a little black spray ink splatter to the card as well.
This would be such a fun card to send to that special someone to let them know you are thinking of them. Thank you for stopping by today! Happy crafting!

Good morning, Anya here with you today. I was so excited to see the “Space Academy”collection by Carta Bella Paper, since my son has been building rockets out of building blocks every day lately! And while we may not see a rocket in his creation, his imagination surely takes flight high!...
I wanted to translate his thoughts onto the layout, and to do so, I stitched loose ovals and scattered die cuts and stickers along the orbit, letting the big red rocket sticker from the “Space Academy Stickers” take the center stage. My son loves this layout about him and already improved his rocket building skills!
Products used in this creation:
Carta Bella Designer White cardstock
Carta Bella Designer Kraft cardstock

Before we introduce our official 2017 design team, we'd like to thank the members of our 2016 team. Without our amazing team members, we couldn't showcase our products to share with you - and we all love that! So, thank you to all of our team members! Special thanks to Kimberly Crawford and Tegan Skwiat, who will be leaving us this year, for all of the amazing projects they shared with us in 2016. As you may have guessed, our other design team members are staying on with us for another year - and we've added another talented designer to our team. Without further ado, please meet our 2017 Design Team:
Would you like to get to know these talented ladies a little better? We asked each of them a few questions - here's what they had to say:
What is your favorite go-to snack? My favorite go to snack is popcorn. I also love chocolate and banana cream pie, but try not to keep it in the house, because then I wouldn't leave it alone. Ha!
My favorite go to snack is: Tea and hard cheese with grapes. Well, I must also admit, nothing gets completed without some chocolate:))
2. My worst habit is: Going to bed late, but I’m really trying to change that!
3. One of my resolutions for 2017 is: Printing photos at least twice a month! A fresh set of prints is always a great inspiration.
4. My favorite time to create is: Daylight! I enjoy the creative process a lot more when the sun is still out.
5. If I could offer one piece of advice to a newbie crafter, I would say: Scraplift! Pick a project you really like and just copy it! You can learn so much by doing so. And also - scrapbook in little chunks of time. You may never get three hours of free time for scrapbooking, but you could get page after page done if you work 10-15 min at a time. Divide your process in little parts: picking your photo, writing a story, choosing your papers, working on design, finishing the page, starting a new layout! That’s the best discovery I found for myself!
My favorite go-to snack is: chocolate
My worst habit is: not cleaning up my creative messes
One of my resolutions for 2017 is: create and develop good habits (my word for 2017 is habit)
My favorite time to be creative is: late morning or early afternoon, in other words, when my kids are in school.
If I could offer one piece of advice to a newbie crafter, I would say: Just have fun, there are no rules in crafting!
