Welcome a new neighbor, or let an existing one know how much you appreciate them, with this adorable Kitchen Mixer Gift set.
I immediately fell in love with the friendly, bright colors of the Echo Park Happiness is Homemade collection and couldn't wait to create something fun with these papers!
I chose to create a 3D Kitchen Mixer Gift Set using my electronic cutting machine and a cut file I purchased online. I used the Solid Red/Yellow Paper and the yellow gingham Spoonful of Sugar papers for the base of my mixer. The sunny yellow is sure to brighten anyone's day!
The Pastry Stripes paper and cute icons on the Kitchen Essentials paper were the perfect accent!
The bowl was created with the blue polka dot Tea Time paper. I added some white scallop felt trim from my stash along the top edge and then filled it with chocolate candy kisses.
The base of this mixer lifts up, so you could even add more chocolate kisses to the inside, if you'd like!
I added a fun cluster of elements to the top corner of the mixer as a focal point. I just love the way the doily stickers look with the kitchen utensils peeking out here-and-there. I then added die cut flowers created with the Flower #3 and Flower #4 Die Sets to both the cluster and to the mixing bowl. Buttons tied with twine in the center of each flower add a homespun feel!
Finally, write out a few favorite recipes on the cut apart recipe cards from the 4x6 Journaling Cards Paper to add to your gift ... maybe include a recipe for Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies to help use up all those chocolate kisses?
