Toy Box Layout:
The bright vivid colors paired with the adorable images in the Toy Box collection had me hooked the first time I laid eyes on it.
I created a layout with 3 photos and a grid design. I used so many of the cute elements to embellish five of the nine squares.
I used photos of two of the cutest little guys you'll ever meet, my nephew and my son. These photos work perfectly with the playful images and colors in this collection.
"Let the adventure begin" card:
When I was finished creating a layout with the "Toy Box" collection I had several strips of patterned paper on my desk.
I cut several of these strips into small pieces and stitched them to the top and bottom of a white card front. In the center of the card (using pop dots) I added the "let the adventure begin" sentiment.
To finish the card, I added a few enamel dots. I love the way this card turned out. I can't wait to use this technique again.
"Little Boys" card:

When I read the adorable "little boys" poem from the ephemera pack, I knew it would make a really cute sentiment for a card. I created the base of the card by sewing strips diagonally across the card base.

I stitched around the edges twice to create lots of texture. Before I added the sentiment I tied some jute twine around the bottom of the card, tied a bow, and added a blue button. This card was so easy to create but with a paper pieced, stitched background the card looks like it was much more time consuming and difficult to create.
I love how this one turned out!
"rawwr" card:

I fell in love with this adorable green dinosaur that is found throughout the Toy Box collection. When I found the ephemera piece I knew I wanted to make a card with it. I kept this card simple because I wanted to keep the focus on the adorable dinosaur and the cute sentiment.

I adhered the die cut to piece of patterned paper and tucked the tag, tied with twine, under the top of the die cut. The finishing touches to this card were the blue button on the top of the bow and machine stitching around the edges. I hope that this card puts a smile onto a little guy's face. I couldn't be happier with how this card turned out.
