Good morning everyone! Have you ever made a layout without photos? I’m sure everyone has those stories that don’t have pictures to support them. Anya here today, and I want to share a sample of the layout that doesn’t have any photos and encourage you to try making a page with a story you always wanted to tell, but lack of pictures may have stopped you from doing so.
The “Are We There Yet” collection is filled with so many images that can totally serve the purpose of the photo. As soon as I saw the sticker of a car loaded with baggage, I remembered a time when we helped our in-laws move, and instead of driving for 16 hours, we ended up driving 32! I will never forget that trip!
I based my layout on a pattern paper that has the color scheme I chose for this page and left plenty of white space around the main part of the layout. Scenes, road signs, and maps are all part of this story, but since I wanted to add a large variety of embellishments, I layered a piece of vellum over the map design paper to tone it down, which let me add more stuff on top of it.
I hope I’ve inspired you to create a page without photos, letting the story and embellishments do the job!
