Hello Echo Park friends and fans, Becki here to share a really adorable unicorn card with you using the Perfect Princess collection. This card was so much fun to create. I know that a sweet little girl will LOVE this card. The "Unicorn Sparkle Die Set" made creating this card SO easy!
Because the patterns in the 6x6 paper pad I chose to create this card using patterned papers from there. The background of the card is cut slightly smaller than the card front. I like to have a small border around my cards.
Then, I added a strip of blue patterned paper across the middle of the card. Those two layers are held together with white stitching that I did with my sewing machine. Above and below the blue patterned paper I added a strip of purple patterned paper. After adhering the purple patterned paper I adhered pink pom-pom trim on top of the purple paper (above and below) the blue patterned paper. Then, I started embellishing the card with the unicorn die cut, the die cut sentiment, and a few white sequins.
I added many of the embellishments and die cuts with foam adhesive. I really wanted this card to have a lot of texture and dimension. And I felt like the unicorn needed to be front and center! This card is sure to put a smile on any little girl's face. The Perfect Princess collection made creating this card SO easy. Thank you for stopping by the Echo Park Paper blog. I'll see you again soon!
