Hey there Carta Bella Paper friends and fans, Becki here to share some awesome little treat bags that I created with the Cartopia collection. If you have a little (or big) boy in your life that loves cars, this is a MUST have collection! These treat bags were so easy to create and came together within a few minutes.
Whenever I create treat bags, THIS is my favorite cut file. It’s so easy to cut and assemble. It’s the perfect size too. You just need one piece of paper to create a treat bag. The front of each bag is embellished with 3x4 cards from the 3x4 journaling cards patterned paper. In addition to the 3x4 card on the front of the bag, each bag has similar embellishments. I used a metal clip, a white tag, enamel dots, and a large sticker as well.
The first bag I created is the “Finish Line” bag. I chose the “finish line” 3x4 card for this bag because I liked the contrast of the red card against the blue bag. To bring in a little more color, I added the number border sticker at the bottom of the bag. The front of this bag has a LOT of texture and dimension. The flags and car stickers are stuck to the front of the bag using pop dots. The metal clip, staples, and enamel dots add a lot of texture to the “finish Line” bag as well.
The “Driving School” bag is made with a bold bright patterned paper. I LOVE the red background on this patterned paper. To add texture and dimension to this bag I added the “us 35” sticker using pop dots. Tucked under the bottom of the 3x4 tag, I glued a small piece of dark navy rick rack. I love the addition of the metal clip on this bag. I think it coordinated perfectly with the gold color in the 3x4 card.
I’ve saved the best for last. Or at least in this case, I’ve saved my favorite for last. I fell in love with the bright striped patterned paper when I first saw it. I knew I had to use it for this project. I thought the “go kart” 3x4 card coordinated perfectly with this patterned paper. Of course, I had to add the little blue speedy car to the front of this bag. On the 3x4 card, I added some star stickers to draw excitement and attention to the go kart theme. To finish this bag, I added a few enamel dots.
These cute gift bags came together so easily with the Cartopia collection. Is it wrong that I want to have a cars themed party just so I can create more of these cute treat bags? Thank you for stopping by today. I’ll see you again soon!
