"Oh Holy Night" Christmas Ornaments

Hello - its Tya here and I am up today sharing with you some fun Christmas Ornaments that I made using the lovely Oh Holy Night collection. It is such a beautiful collection full of color, and the sentiments are perfect for the holiday season. 

I purchased a few round chipboard type ornaments from my local craft store as the base of these ornaments. I used circle die cut and some stickers, stamps and die cuts to make these ornaments. Here are a few close ups of each one:

For the background of this ornament, I used a piece of the B side of the Border Strip paper. I thought the angels were so pretty so I used 2 angel stickers from the sticker sheet and a few small snowflake and star round stickers as well as a floral sprig sticker. The sentiment is stamped on a circle cut from some cream cardstock. This circle is mounted on a piece of Gold Shimmer cardstock . I used my Silhouette machine to cut a scallop circle and then mounted the cream circle on top. I tied a ribbon to the top of each ornament for a finishing touch.

 This ornament has a background of the All is Calm paper and then again used stickers and stamps to decorate.

 On this final ornament I used a piece of the blue side of the All is Bright paper. The Nativity is the Nativity Silhouette Die cut that I cut from the burgundy side of the All is Bright paper.

"Santa's Workshop" Gift Box

Hello, friends! Jana Eubank here to share an idea for wrapping up those holiday treats this Christmas. I used the Carta Bella Paper Santa's Workshop to create this roomy gable box, perfect for a batch of cookies, loaf of bread, rolls, or whatever goodie you would like to take to a neighbor or friend!

 

I added a handcut a snowbank from Ultra White Felt Designer Cardstock for the front of the box, so that the chipboard Santa and reindeer had a place to park the sleigh. I cut the "M-E-R-R-Y" letters out from the banner stickers and used foam dots to pop them up above the large "Christmas" word sticker along the top of the box. A couple of chipboard ornaments fill out the top right corner of the box front.

 

 

I placed the To/From die cut (Frames & Tags Ephemera) on top of the cheer red/white striped panel (Season's Greetings paper) on the top of the box. A gingerbread boy sticker is waving "hello!"

 

I used my Silhouette Cameo machine and the "Poinsettia" cut file by Echo Park Paper (Design #96543 in the Silhouette Design Store) to create the blue poinsettia to the right of the tag. The blue paper is from the 6x6 paper pad and matches the rest of the collection perfectly. I used Classic Green Felt Designer Cardstock for the leaves. The flower center was created using the Gold Shimmer Designer Cardstock and a flower punch a yellow flat-back pearl stickers from my stash.

 

 

Anytime I give a gift, I like to write a short note to go with it, so I created this small, coordinating enclosure card using the scraps I had left on my desk. I used the Merry Christmas Decorative Tape adhered to a scrap of white cardstock as a quick-and-easy sentiment. (On a sidenote, wouldn't this tape be GREAT to make sentiments for all of your Christmas cards this year?! Just sayin' ... *wink*)

 

 

Christmas is a few months away, and that means you have the time NOW to think about how you would like to package up those holiday treats. Don't rush and do something last minute, ... make them look special with this adorable Santa's Workshop Gable Gift Box.

"Fall Break" Autumn Treat Bags

Good morning everyone! Anya here today and I would like to share some fun treat boxes that I created with the fabulous “Fall Break” collection by Carta Bella. I absolutely adore the color scheme in this line!

To create these treat boxes I used a digital cut file and some of my favorite patterns from the line. Boxes are pretty easy to assemble. Each box was filled with one of my children’s favorite snack and decorated with die cut leaves, stickers, chipboard and fussy cut elements.

How fun it would be to make one for each child at Thanksgiving or even a fall birthday party! You may create similar treat boxed for any occasion, by changing the collection you use.

"Merry & Bright" Scrapbook Page

Hello there! It's Tya here blog today with a fun and festive layout featuring the Merry and Bright collection. 

How pretty is this collection? I love the soft blue they added and some of the pieces have some beautiful gold foil on them as well. Such a stunning collection!

 I like to add pattern paper to my layouts in new and interesting ways so for this layout I decided to add pieces of Holiday Plaid paper cut on angles and placed on the 2 corners of the layout. I like how it frames the photos in the center and draws your eyes there. 

I used lots of chipboard and ephemera on this layout. I like dimension and these are fun to layer on the layout with foam tape and dots. Here are a few more close ups of the layout:

Fill'er Up Santa! - Christmas House Gift Boxes

Hello again! Jana Eubank here with a set of Christmas House Gift Boxes ... perfect for filling with treats and trinkets this coming holiday! I created these adorable boxes using the NEW Merry & Bright collection.

 

Each box is created from a mix of patterned papers. This first one features the green plaid Jolly Words paper. The lid of this box is cut from the 2x2 Journaling Cards paper and the body of the box is cut from the Merry Presents paper. The smaller patterns of the 6x6 paper pad were perfect for the roof and trim pieces. Elements from the Chipboard Accents and Sticker Sheet decorate the front of each box.

 

 

On this house, I stitched together three die cut trees (Merry Christmas Tree Die Set) to create a dimensional tree to add to the front of the house. Simply bend up the layers with your fingers after stitching together. A Chipboard Santa is waving a friendly "Hello!"

 

 

 

In addition to the stickers and chipboard pieces, I used baker's twine wrapped around the wreath and an enamel dot for the doorknob to add additional texture. There are even glittering gems lining the roofline! These are the kind of details that make projects like this so much fun to create!
