Love Always Card

I love having several cards on hand to write notes to my friends and family. Hello, Everyone! Jana Eubank here! Today I have a pretty card to share with you created with the Carta Bella Paper Our House collection.

 

I used the 6x6 Paper Pad to create the background for this card, but decided to add a little something more to the solid aqua paper.

I pulled out the Falling for You 6x6 Stencil from the Echo Park Paper You & Me collection and used a sponge to add a subtle heart pattern to the aqua paper using mint green ink. I LOVE the result!

Next, I cut out a card from the 3x4 Journaling Cards paper to anchor the pink journal card die cut from the Frames & Tags Ephemera pack. I then the word “love” from the Gather Love Word Die Set to create a sentiment. The focal point of this card is the darling flower sticker featuring flowers arranged in a measuring cup. So CUTE!

"Document Your December" Travelers Notebook

It’s the first week of December and I (Suzanna) have my December documenting well under way! I decided that, after 7 years of failing miserably at trying to keep a December Daily album,  I was going to make it “Document Your December” and do it in a Travelers Notebook. By doing so, I am able to keep things simple and make the project work for me! This Red Buffalo travelers notebook from Echo Park is perfect; the pages are white, there are many of them AND it looks festive.

Not much was needed in the way of adornment for the cover. The cover of the notebook will get the most wear and tear so I wanted to keep it simple. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the Placemat file from the Silhouette store for the label (Design ID 279781). In order to add a little more pizazz to the cover, I also used the stencil from O, Holy Night and some modeling paste for a bit of depth and visual interest. The mistletoe sticker added a lovely pop of color to finish things off!

The opening day of my album is a bit of a stretch as the event took place on November 30^th. However, this shopping extravaganza is what kicks of my holiday season every year! And so, while not December, it’s an important memory for me. You have to do what works for you.

 

The bulk of the elements in this spread are green and black in order to pop the red in the photo. You really don’t need a lot for this type of memory keeping. There is a nice balance of patterned paper and support elements that support the photo and the accompanying story.

The word “tradition” really ties everything together nicely. While I love my digital die cut machine and the flexibility it provides me, there is nothing like the cut of a manual crank die cut machine! Those rounded edges and the crispness of the fine details! And Echo Park has some fantastic dies that always incorporate well into a layout of any type be it 12x12, Project Life or in your Travelers Notebook!

By keeping it clean and simple, I’m much more inclined to finish this this December! I highly encourage you to consider an Echo Park Travelers Notebook for your memory keeping this December!

"You and Me" Hot Air Balloon Project

Hello! It's Michelle Zerull here to today to share my Hot Air Balloon using the delightful line of papers from the Echo Park Paper You and Me collection.

 

 

I imagine romance as a grand gesture of Hot Air Balloon rides high amidst the clouds. But I don't like heights, so this will have to do! The playful prints coordinate beautifully and can be used for everyday projects, as well as birthdays and special events. Wouldn't this be a fun project for a bridal or baby shower?

 

 

My balloon was made using my Digital Die Cutting Machine and the SVG pattern from the Silhouette Design Store. The sentiment is an Element Sticker from the You and Me Collection Kit. I love that sentiment! It can be interpreted in so many lovely ways.

 

 

Whether it be a tea party for a toddler, or a romantic night for two, the You and Me Collection is perfect for celebrating the people you love.

A Lovely Layout with the “You & Me” Collection

Hi everyone! It’s Dorymar here!  I’m very happy to share with you my first project as an Echo Park 2019 designer, I’m so excited!  Today I am sharing a lovely layout with the subtle “You & Me” Collection.

When I saw this collection, I fell in love instantly with the colors, designs, but most of all, the theme: LOVE!  

I love the mixed media techniques and it’s very easy to use the beautiful falling for you stencil from the collection to create a very fun background. I combined it with my favorite paintings to make this beautiful piece. In this case I used hollyhock pearl stencil paste, shaded lilac and wild honey distress ink.

You can see how beautiful the texture is when mixed with the wonderful elements of the collection.

There are so many different elements to choose from in this collection!  I had lots of fun looking through the pieces! All the elements are so beautiful that they are very easy to place, they look fantastic! 

This collection has a very cute graphics, that it was so easy to use them to create layered clusters around the picture. I used my scissors to cut the ones I liked the most.  Then I combined these elements with stickers and forest branches die cuts, this gives a unique touch to the Layout.

To create the title of this page, I used the “You & Me” phrase from the Element Sticker Sheet, and then added some flowers that I cut from the graphs of the paper. Looks beautiful!
