Mermaid Dreams Travelers Notebook Project

Who knew a traveler’s notebook (TN) could take you to the depths of the ocean? That’s some serious mileage! Get there in an instant using the darling Mermaid Dreams line. 

 

Inspired by the motifs in this collection, I scrapbooked the photos from my daughter’s birthday photo shoot, but you don’t have to be as literal. Mermaid magic would be fun on a page about the pool, about play time at home, even about you and your girl friends or your fierce style. 

 

 

I used the embossing folder to add texture to my project.

 

 

I paired fish stickers with enamel dots to create lively little bubble-blowing friends on my page. 

 

 

I wrapped a sticker from the collection around a paperclip to create a flag for my layout. 

 

 

Because each technique is simple, my TN spread came together quickly. Leaving me with enough time to add a third page, made using the TN divided page protector. 

 

 

I’ve sure had fun diving deep with you today. I hope you enjoy the project and find yourself inspired to create something new.
