Hello, Carta Bella fans! Its, Dorymar here, today I have a fun project you can create for any occasion. I am sharing a Floral Satchel Treat Bag created with the Botanical Garden Collection. I adore all the flower patterns in this collection! Its perfect for creating very beautiful projects.
I used the Luxury Handbags by SVG cuts file to create this beautiful Satchel Bag with my Silhouette Cameo. All except the daisy flowers, they are from the Echo Park Silhouette Store. The Botanical Garden papers were so cute for this project. I love how versatile is this collection. To create the bag, I started with a base of Natural White Linen Cardstock.
I used two different papers to decorate the exterior of the bag. One is the Sweet Pea Cluster Paper and the other one is the back of the Sweet Pea Journaling Cards Paper. From the Wedding Day Collection, I used the Pink/Black Solid paper to cut the small squares that attach the handles to the satchel bag, and the piece that simulates the zipper in the center of the bag. Then I added beige enamel dots from the Wedding Day Collection on the top of these pieces, all match perfectly!
For the daisy flowers I select again the Pink/Black Solid paper from the Wedding Day Collection, and I combine it with the back of the Poppy Petals paper and the White Linen Cardstock to cut different sizes of flowers with my silhouette machine. From the front of the Poppy Petals paper I cut a bunch of flowers and glued it in the center of the satchel using a dimensional tape to give layers to the project. Add some enamel dots in the center of the flowers.
I used two pieces from the Botanical Garden Sticker Sheet to add a cute thought to decorate the front of the bag.
I can create two different satchel bags with the same collection, and they are awesome. Here is the example of the second one. I follow the same process to create it.
