Hello! It’s Jana Eubank. I’m crushing on the new Best Summer Ever collection with its soft and sweet, ice cream colors. I thought it would be the perfect collection to use recording my daughter’s summer birthday!
I’ll begin here at the top of the page where I used the Calendar Essentials to add the date to my layout. Sometimes I forget to do this step, but a tab accented with a couple of decorative brads looks so cute!
I fussy-cut several flowers from the Sunshine Floral paper to use around the page. On the left side of the focal point photo, I used them to accent the die cut pineapple and watermelon slice (created with the Sweet Treats die set).
I decided to do something fun for my journal spot on this layout. I used the Summer Fun Cabana Stripe background stamp as journaling lines! The green and white bold stripes look nice paired with the green and white skinny stripes in the background paper!
Each floral cluster around the page is also accented with the periwinkle Enamel Dots. What a beautiful, unique color!
I love pairing two different fonts together for my page titles. For this page I used the mini alphabet included with the Letterbox Alphabet Die Set along with a script word I die cut using my electronic die cutting machine.
The Best Summer Ever collection is perfect for scrapping your summertime memories, whatever they may be!
