Hello there everyone! Tya here up on the blog today sharing with you a fun mini album that I made featuring the stunning "Let's Travel" line from Carta Bella. And oh boy! What a fantastic collection this is! I am someone with a serious case of wanderlust...if I don't take a trip every few months, I get a little antsy! So this collection was perfect for recording one of our recent family cruise vacations that we took.
I was inspired by this tutorial to make this mini album. I loved the pull-out pockets and the chance to add lots of photos to this album using this technique of album construction. The album is made with our Premium Chipboard and then is covered with Ultra White Felt Cardstock. I added some of the “Planes” pattern paper to the front, spine and back of the album. I decorated the front cover with one of the 4x6 cards and some Navy Felt Cardstock. I then added a few stickers, enamel dots, and chipboards pieces to decorate the front. I wrapped some jute along the bottom edge and added one of the Decorative Brads to the center of the bow. I tied the album closed with some burlap ribbon and for some fun with the travel theme; I tied an airplane charm to the bow.
The album opens to reveal 5 different "pockets" that each one of the pages pulls out of and then they are decorated. The pockets are made with some Navy Felt Cardstock. The inside of the album is decorated using some "Planes" paper. I decorated the front and back of the pockets with some "Landmark" and "Tourist" class pattern papers. I also did a bit of decorating on the front of the pockets with some stickers and chipboard.
Here is how the pocket holds the pages and as you can see they pull out. The pages are made with Kraft Cardstock.
Here is the album page. It has an outside flap like this:
And then it opens like this:
There is a lot of room for photos and journaling on the pages.
Here is another one of the pages in the album. Notice the different pattern paper on the outside pocket.
Here I used the same page type, but this time I rotated the page and made the flap that was on the outside of the page above, into a pocket page and tucked a photo inside.
Plenty of space for photos on the sides:
And then the other side can hold some journaling - I made this hidden journaling spot with a 3x4 card I scored on the side, glued just the scored side down to the edge, and then glued the journaling underneath.
This was such a fun project that I tackled in an afternoon and I really liked this album technique and can see myself using this again and again. The "Let's Travel " collection is filled to the brim with anything you could need to make some simply fabulous mini albums. The papers and icons are stunning! What can I say? I just LOVE this line!!! I hope I have inspired you to make one of these fun albums for yourself. Happy crafting!

Dreaming of faraway places? “Let's Travel” with Carta Bella Paper! This new line of paper and embellishments has beautiful candy colors and images of exotic destinations with whimsical modes of transportation. Whether you're going to Dubai or Duluth, “Let's Travel” can travel with you.
Pack your suitcases and don't forget your “Travel Tote.” This sweet little carrier has six little Mini Milk Cartons full of treats and yummy goodies. Such a whimsical way to give treats to the whole gang. The Milk Cartons are so easy to put together, but it's hard to choose what cute prints to use. I love them all! The little cartons are held closed with cloud covered mini clothespins. That makes the boxes reusable as well as adorable!
The Travel Tote is made with a base of Carta Bella Ultra White Linen Cardstock and covered with “Luggage Tags” and “Travel Map” patterned paper. I am crushing on the B side of the “Luggage Tags” paper. It looks just like the Departure/ Arrival Board at the airport. So cute! I cut out little suitcases from the 6x6 Paper Pad and stacked them with dimensional foam adhesive to create a luggage pile on my tote. Looks like someone over-packed!
With my electronic die cutting machine, I cut the tag and title to put on the handle. Here's a crafting tip: Always save your scraps of Echo Park Coordinating Solids paper. The designers at Carta Bella and Echo Park Paper work hard to make sure that papers coordinate with previous collections. I love that!
While planning your Summer itinerary, set aside some time to play with “Let's Travel” by Carta Bella!

Hello friends! It’s Dorymar back with you all on the blog today with some Traveler’s Notebook inspiration. I knew the Let’s Travel Collection by Carta Bella was going perfect in the new Teal Travelers Notebook. Let me share how I have brought everything together.
First, I decided to prepare a swag for the notebook, for this I used a combination of die cuts, paper, chipboard stickers and brads. The combination of this pieces with the color of the traveler notebook looks sensational and it gives you an idea of the fun things you'll find inside.
Decorate the pockets is one of the fun parts in the travelers notebook, because when you open, you can find many fun elements of the collection and have space to save your memorabilia or part of the elements that you will use to decorate your notebook during your journey.
What's more fun than spending Spring Break traveling somewhere in the world? This year my family and I were able to enjoy new adventures at Panama. You will see part of these adventures inside this notebook.
I used Coffee and Friends Blank Inserts, to document my wonderful experience in Panama. To cover the front of the insert I layered the Life is Good Paper and Just Landed Paper with the beautiful suitcases 4x6 card. Then I added some doodling’s and fun phrases from the sticker sheet. I love how they turn out!
I layered lots of different papers for these pages, before adding elements from the collection to include the chipboard stickers, die cuts and the Tags. One of the fun parts of creating these pages was to put many baggage tags from the elements of the collection around the pictures. They go perfect with the pictures!
Another of the accessories that have these travelers notebooks are the photo sleeve. These allow you to add many more pictures and you can save some souvenirs of your trip.
I love creating pockets in my projects and this could not be the exception! I decided to create a pocket to add a different touch to the traveler's notebook and have more and more space for photos and journaling. I used a combination of several papers of the collection to create the background, the pocket and the inserts, but one of the things that I loved was to be able to add a little bit of texture to the photo mats using the Fun Times Embossing Folder from this collection.
It was very fun to add many travel elements in the cover of this notebook. This collection has many gorgeous travel phrases, stuff and the color combination are perfect. To create the background, I used the Tourist Class Paper and the back of Just Landed Paper then, I added all the elements using foam tape to give dimension.
I absolutely love this collection and I had so much fun documenting some of my most precious memories in my Travelers Notebook.
I hope you love this collection as much as I do! Thank you for stopping by!
Happy Scrapping!

Good morning everyone! Anya here today to share a set of wedding cards I created using the Wedding Day collection. This line comes in a very classic color combination and would fit to document pretty much any wedding if you were to create layouts or an album for a that occasion.
For both of my cards I used an envelope Die Set to cut envelopes, used them as one of the layers on card and decorated them on top. I wanted to have these so that you could add a gift card along with a message on a tag inside the envelope.
Chipboard stickers are some of my favorite elements to use on my cards. They add such a nice statement to a handmade card. Here I used a vintage black car, black bow tie and a pretty pink banner. These cards won't be sitting in the box for too long, since we are already invited to two weddings this year!
Products used to create these cards:
3x4 Journaling Cards patterned paper
Wedding Floral patterned paper
Best Day Bouquet patterned paper
Dk.Pink/Grey Coordinating Solid paper

Hiya scrappy peeps! Suzanna here today to share with you a layout about my wedding cake that I created using the Wedding Day collection. I’m not much a baker. I’m terrible with icing and/or frosting. So when the cake I created turned out so fabulous I was tickled pink!
The digital cut files that accompany this collection as now in the Silhouette store but when it was time for me to create this layout, they weren’t yet there. I used an older Echo Park cut file to create the large base for the cake, the cake stand and the bow topper. It’s all one file you will be pleased to know.
If you follow my work, you will by now be familiar with the fact that I REALLY love Echo Park’s stencils! So it will come as no surprise that I used the accompanying stencil, Always Forever, and “frosted” my cake with this lovely swirly pattern. The metallic tone on tone shimmer really adds a special touch to the layout, don’t you think?
A punch with a piece of the tone on tone pink patterned paper served as “piping” between layers of the cake. A mix of Element stickers and chipboard stickers add a floral finish to this multi-tiered wedding cake.
A mix of alphabet dies and the gold chipboard love make for a wonderful title. I had to use fussy cut a few of the gold foiled flowers from the patterned paper to polish things off.
Be sure to swing by my YouTube channel and check out the process video if you are interested!
Thanks for stopping in to today! I look forward to seeing you again soon!
Suzanna

Hello Crafty Friends! Get out your cameras. It's Wedding Season! Michelle Zerull here with you today to share my paper Wedding Chapel that I made with the lovely new Wedding Day Collection by Echo Park Paper. Wedding Day is rich with sophisticated patterns and imagery that you might expect from a wedding collection, but it also has pops of gold foil and modern calligraphy that make it feel fresh and young. I love it and I know that you will too!
Wouldn't this make a lovely centerpiece at a Wedding Shower or Reception? I formed a slit in the roof of of the Chapel so it could function as a box to hold cards, advice slips and congratulatory wishes for the newlyweds.
The texture of the spire on the steeple was formed with the Elegant Damask Embossing Folder. The quiet elegance works with plain or patterned paper as you see here with the lovely Love Tags patterned paper.
I adore the “Always and Forever” Chipboard banner. It looks fabulous with the Frame from the Element Sticker Sheet.
It's the Wedding Chapel that every little girl dreams of.
Fall in love with Wedding Day!
