I don't know what it is but aren't Dinosaurs so fascinating? They really are! It's Tya up on the blog today, and I am so excited to share my latest layout with you all! This was a fun one to create!
So my family went to Universal Studios in Florida a few years back and fell in love with the Jurassic Park ride. It is themed so well with all the lush greenery, and spooky empty velociraptor cages liter the park and it is just so entertaining! We rode the ride 3 times in a row and when you get off the ride there is a replica of the huge mama T-Rex and it is so lifelike! We just had to snap some fun pictures! So that is the story behind my layout!
I wanted to create a big, eye-catching title for this layout so I created the title on my Silhouette and backed the title with some of the 6x6 papers from the 6x6 paper pad. I like using the smaller scale papers when making this kind of title.
I also cut out 3 different leaves to place behind the title on my Silhouette as well. I used these cut files to make them:
I placed a few of the die-cut leaves as well as a few stickers and Ephemera pieces by the letters in the title. I love how lifelike the dinosaurs looked! No cartoon dinos here! Roar!
Up on the top of the layout for some variety and interest, I added a one-inch strip of the Wild and Free paper as well as a half-inch strip of the blue side of the Dinos Rule paper and glued them just below the top edge. I added the "Dinos Rule" Ephemera to the top corner with some foam tape.
It just goes to show - you don't have to be a paleontologist to appreciate this awesome collection! Hello crafty friends! Prehistoric adventure awaits! Michelle Zerull here with you today to share my Dino Party Gift Set made with the beautiful Dinosaurs Collection by Carta Bella Paper.
I am delighted by the illustrations in this collection. Each image is beautifully rendered. The “Prehistoric” Patterned Paper is a perfect example of the quality of the art. I used this piece to make my medium gift bag, but it would be equally suitable for home décor, or as a focal page in your scrapbook.
I accessorized the gift bag with a fun tag. The tag's base came from the Dinosaurs Frames & Tags Ephemera pack. It was awesome just as it was, but I added a few elements from the Dinosaurs Ephemera pack for dimension.
For the large gift bag, I used “Dino Comic Strip” Patterned Paper. The comic style graphics will be a huge hit for the young and old alike, and with a bag this large, almost any gift will fit inside.
The Flip Flap swing card was made with the “I Love Dinosaurs” Patterned Paper and embellished with papers and elements from the Dinosaurs 6X6 Paper Pad. The 6X6 Paper Pad has many of the same papers that are in the Dinosaurs Collection Kit, but scaled down for cardmakers.
Just for fun, I added a party hat made with “Dino Dot” Patterned Paper. I used a few fun elements from the Dinosaurs Element Sticker. When you're wearing a hat, life's always a party!

Hi friends, It’s Dorymar today with a fun Dinosaurs Treat Fries Boxes! These boxes are very fashionable today, you can use them for your treats, to make gifts to your crafty friends, to decorate, etc. You can fill them with whatever you want. For these boxes I used the new Dinosaurs Collection from Carta Bella.
Here's a closer look of one of the fun fries box (Silhouette Design ID#64971) I decorated the box by creating several tags using “Home Again Stitched Tags Die Set” and My Favorite Fall Autumn Branches Die Set for the leaves. Then complement it with the stickers of the collection.
Adding different layers always make the project more fun! All the patterned papers are very fun and make it easy for you to combine and create.
For finished touches I distress the borders with brown and green ink and add some twine.
This collection is so fun to create many projects for your kids!

Hello, Echo Park fans! Tya here, and I have a confession - I love all things girly! Give me all the makeup and pretty hair accessories and a day at the Salon is like heaven on earth to me! Needless to say, I was more than thrilled to work with the simply stunning "Salon" collection!
I decided to make a little gift set with a cute easel style gift card holder and then a handmade card that you could give along with it. I adored all of the positive, uplifting messages in this collection and thought this would be a fun gift to give to your favorite gal pal!
The card was made with lots of different layers of pattern papers. I have always like used the teal, pink and black color combo so I tried to incorporate lots of those colors. The floral pattern on the "Salon Floral" paper is darling! The "You are Beautiful" piece is from the 3x4 Journaling Cards. These little beauties are perfect for card sentiments. I used a decorative edge punch for the scalloped black piece and tied some sheer teal ribbon to the card for some feminine frill.
Loved this Lipstick piece - It is found on the Chipboard Accents.
These cute little lips are stickers found on the Element Sticker Sheet. I added foam tape to the back for some dimension.
Here is the cute easel gift card holder. I used this cut file 3D Gift Card Box with Easel Card and my Silhouette to create the box.
I decorated the easel portion with this cute cut out found in the 6x6 paper pad. I used the 6x6 paper pad for all the pattern papers to decorate the box.
As you can see, the drawer pulls out to reveal the perfect spot to place a gift card or any other type of small gift.

Hiya scrappy peeps! Suzanna here today and I’m sharing with you a layout created using the Salon collection. I mentioned a while back that neither my daughter nor I are “girly girls” so collections such as this are a challenge for me. They force me to step out of my comfort zone. I’m pretty pleased with how this turned out.
The large title really steals the show on this page. I used the 6x6 paper pad and a coordinating Echo Park digital cut file with my Silhouette to create the title. By using the 6x6 paper pad, I was able to get more of the details of the selected patterns visible in the fine print of the words.
This is a trick I use often; layering 6x4 journal cards and tags behind the photo for layers. There are usually a ton of phrases and sayings in all the embellishments in Echo Park goodies. I find that they become overwhelming after a while so I like to use the borders of these things are layers and get the most bang for my buck out of the product.
While the title is about “messy hair”, which my daughter has with her morning bed head, the story is about something different. It’s possible to title a layout yet have the journaling be about something still related to the photo but not the title. Both title and journaling here are relevant. In this manner, I was able to use the subject of the collection with the photo in a relevant manner but tell a more meaningful story.

Hi Friends! It’s Dorymar today I have a super fun project to share with you with the fantastic Salon Collection by Echo Park. When I saw this collection, I freaked out of love with it because I love makeup as much as I love scrapbooks. When I saw the designs, the colors and the theme, I told myself “Dorymar you need to do something special with this collection” and that’s why I decided to create a makeup suitcase. I think we all have one like this!!! Check it out!
This project is made entirely from scratch with my own measurements and patterns. The size of the suitcase is 10x8x5, and the inside houses a mini album and two flip books.
To cover the outside of the suitcase I used the b-side of Makeup paper and Carta Bella Ebony Black Felt cardstock. To the finishing touches I used a black rhinestone mesh to give a glamorous look. Finally, I added chipboard stickers to decorate the top of the suitcase.
Inside it has removable drawers where you could find the mini albums. But not only that, it also has a mirror and lights that you can turn on and off. It’s just fantastic!
To make the album I used chipboard and Ebony Black Felt Cardstock to make the bases, then I lined it up with several patterned papers of the collection. As title of the project I used one of the 6x4 cards with the sentiments that I liked the most and what my project is focused on, makeup.
Each of the pages has different pockets and flaps, that makes it more fun when you see it. Here are a few close-ups of the pages. As you can see, I used many of the collection’s cute embellishments on my pages!
All the sentiments included in the die cuts are so fashionistas! Love all!
Pastel colors mixed with black make the collection look very beautiful. You can see how cute the blower is! I loved!
This is one of my favorite pages, because it has a double pocket with two gatefold that open. All are decorated with the beautiful elements of the collection.

Hi there - Tya here. I am up on the blog today sharing my latest handmade card featuring the gorgeous "Home Again" collection. I just love the simple elegance and beauty of this collection. And anything with Navy these days has my heart.
This card was made using some 12x12 pattern papers as well as the 6x6 paper pad. When there are several papers that I love, I like to add as many of them to my cards as possible. A fun way to add papers is to cut one of them on the diagonal and create a pocket. I did this with the Home Floral paper.
I like to layer stickers and chipboard here and there on my cards for some variety. I loved the cute simple chipboard house so much! And isn't that floral sticker so pretty?
The sentiment of this card is from the Ephemera die cuts. I cut out a stitched circle using one of our metal dies using the woodgrain side of the Floral Trucks paper. I added the sentiment to the center of the circle with some foam tape. Again I tucked some floral stickers underneath the sentiment and then added a scale sticker and a chipboard phrase to the top of the scale sticker.
These stitched tags are one of the newest die cuts that coordinate perfectly with this collection. I used the second largest tag and then tucked them inside the pocket I made with the floral paper. I attached some twine to the tag for a rustic look. I also love to add enamel dots to my projects for some shine so I added 3 up in the left corner.
Here is a closer look at the scale and floral sticker. I love the chipboard phrase as well: House + Love = Home - so very true.
I enjoyed working with this collection so much and I hope I have inspired you to make up some handmade cards of your own with this stunning collection. This card would be great for a house warming gift with a gift card in it!

Hiya scrappy peeps! Suzanna here today to share with you a full sized photo, winter layout that is actually part of a series I have been working on. This is part 3 of a 4 part series on my house through out the seasons. I have used the Home Again collection to document my house in winter. If you pop over to my YouTube channel, you can see how this layout came together and in the description box there is a link to the Spring and Summer videos. I have the photo for Fall that needs to be scrapped to complete the series.
The “template” of the series was laid out with the Spring layout with a header that included a version of “home sweet home” and a footer that contained the journaling and other season appropriate embellishments. These photos were taken in 2017 so it’s taken a while to find collections that enabled me to continue the series using similar, season appropriate elements. This Home Again collection is, as you can see, perfect for the Winter version of this series!
Each of the layouts has a tag in the bottom, left corner that tells a little something about the outside appearance of our house in that season. This particular winter, we didn’t put up outside lights. December has become increasingly chaotic as the kids get older leaving less time for “unessential” decorating, such as the outside of the house.
The header of each of the layouts has incorporated patterned paper and a way of adding the “Home Sweet Home” phrase. While previously a tag has housed that sentiment, the chipboard frame was perfect here. I had to use cardstock to create a blank canvas for the frame as the “Bless this house” that came pre-printed in the frame was not fully covered by “sweet”. Sweet was cut using a font in my Silhouette. The “home” to the left and right of sweet are both chipboard pieces that I cut to nestle flush with the frame, thus completing the phrase. Element stickers are tucked in behind this for some added visual interest.
I’m am so pleased with the way this series is turning out, long and drawn out as it’s been! LOL! It’s neat to see how different the house looks in each different season.

The Best Journey Takes You Home!
It's Dorymar here sharing some album pages inspiration. If you are looking for the perfect way to document your Home memories, here is the project. I used the Home Again Collection from Carta Bella and the beautiful Black & White Check 6x8 album to create this project.
On the cover, I used the embellishment from the collection to create a small cluster on the right edge of the album. All of them are glued with foam tape for dimension.
One of the things that I love the most of this 6x8 albums is the variety pocket page I can incorporate in it and the opportunity to create my layouts and my own dividers. On the pages below you can see how the collection contains the perfect elements and phrases for the theme. To create my layout pages, I used several patterned papers of the collection and reduce them at 6x8.
Using several pieces from the chipboards, die cuts and stickers give me the perfect match for my picture. I love to create clusters around the photo mats because I can use many elements of the collection.
I love to create pockets using the journaling cards.
Another thing that fascinates me about this album is to fill the pocket pages, this allows me to play with the cards in the collection and I can perfectly combine the elements to make them look fantastic. It also brings me more space for photos and journaling.
The 2x2 Pocket Pages always are one of my favorites, because I enjoyed the mix and match all the elements. I love the little details!
The collection has the Home Together Die Set, I used these dies in combination with solid collection papers to add titles and words to my pocket pages.
For this divider, I cut a piece of 4.5x8 from the B-side of Home Floral paper to create the base. On the top, I created a belly band and decorate it using the Stitched Tag Die Set and one sentiment included in the Frames and Tag Ephemera. I love all the subtle colors that this collection includes and how all the elements came together.
All the 4x6 cards have beautiful sentiments and I decided to use them to create more dividers, on the back of them I added more space for photos. See the photos below.
