It’s Lydia Cost today, and I’m so excited to share a little peek inside my traveler’s notebook! I’m working inside the amazing Black Watch Traveler’s Notebook in the shop, and I knew it would be perfect for memory-keeping the many memories of the boys in my life!
For this spread I wanted to do something extra fun on the left side, and I felt totally inspired by the pockets inside my traveler’s notebook. I decided I was going to create some fun pockets on the left side to hide away my journaling and pop up some pretty tags from the All Boy collection.
It was such a breeze to create with my sewing machine and some pretty patterned paper from the collection. I layered up 4 sheets and stitched them on to create lots of little pockets for my spread. To create this yourself, feel free to check out the Project Download HERE.
I typed up some journaling on my typewriter to tuck in one of the pockets, I put in a fun piece of ephemera that perfectly captioned our day at the park, and then I added a tag that fit the occasion too. I think they look so cute all layered up on the same page!
One the right side I knew I wanted to have a 2 photo page, so I arranged them on my blank white page, and then I went a little crazy adding fun phrase stickers and lots of pretty puffy stars. I loved that amazing chipboard tree house illustration, so I knew it would have to go in the middle of my page to bring out the amazing greens in my photos.
I splattered on some black paint to really tie in the black accents and add some more character to my spread. This was such a simple spread to create, but it has so many areas that draw your eye in. The All Boy collection is just perfect for documenting my little’s everyday adventures, and I could think of a better way to fill up my TN notebook!
