Hello crafty friends! I'm Michelle Zerull and I'd like to share a fun, dimensional card that I made with the Summertime Collection by Echo Park Paper.
Making a double lever card isn't as difficult as it looks. By using double sided patterned paper, half of the work is already done! I used the Summertime "Summer Floral" Patterned Paper as my focal print. The floral is modern, beautiful and the colors of the collection are all represented. The card opens accordion-style to reveal four panels that are ready to embellish with layers of Summertime icons.
A floral bouquet from the Summertime Chipboard Accents starts things off with embellishments that stretch on and on. I did some partial cutting of a sticker from the Summertime Sticker Book. When layered on the chipboard piece, it created my own layered embellishment.
I think that my favorite piece from the entire Summertime Collection, is a phrase on the last panel that reads: "Summer is a State of Mind". No matter where you are are, or what the circumstances, that quote is relevant. Enjoy the sunshine, and enjoy your Summertime.
