It’s Lydia Cost today, and as usual I’m so thankful you’re stopping by today. I’m sharing a fun little 4x4 album today, using the incredible Carta Bella By the Sea collection. There is just something about the gorgeous beach pier color scheme that instantly draws in the eye!
For this little album I was set on filling it with as much of the collection as I could squeeze in. I had so many lovely papers to work with, a stamp set, and some gorgeous illustrations from the ephemera pack and element sticker sheet. This collection really does have everything you could possibly need for a complete mini album.
I chose to decorate the inside of my little album with some of that amazing red anchor paper and a pretty sentiment ephemera piece. When I added a little more red to my album, I decided I could finally start on my cover page. I wanted to include some clumpy white sand that I’d been keeping from a past trip. I pulled out my fuse tool and went about securing it on. I then added a title using the element stickers, and choosing some of the other lovely stickers that really highlighted the page.
Next I went about adding little tags to my album and filling in patterned papers that I could easily adhere my photos onto. Some pages I left outside the page protectors, and others with photos I chose to keep inside. I really love the mix of materials you can put inside these little albums.
I added in several tags; these are the perfect place for typing on your favorite beach quotes and poems, journaling about your photos, or adding a little memory. Attaching a great ribbon to the tops always help your little album stand out with some fun textures.
I finished up by adding a few tabs with stickers to the edges of the pages, so that I would have distinct sections of my album. I can’t wait to add even more photos in here and continue to fill it up. It’s such an easy setup, and the By the Sea collection makes everything look truly lovely!
