Ahoy There! Hello everyone! It’s Dorymar today with you sharing a simple but very beautiful project with By the Sea Collection by Carta Bella. Summer is here and we need to enjoy the warm weather and activities at sea or simply document past vacations in the ocean.
As a base of my layout I used the b-side of Nautical Plaid Paper, I was fascinated by this paper that is simulating wood with those shades of blue that make the design stand out even more. For adding extra touches, I made some splatters using white paint.
I wanted to showcase the papers from this kit and of course the assortment of colors. The photo of my daughters during a vacation on a cruise was perfect for this collection of the ocean, blues, and nautical things. I used a patterned paper for my background and created a few layers using strips, this is a great way to add details and the ability to use more than one piece of paper.
As a title of the layout, I used one of the die cuts included in the Frames and Tags Ephemera.
I always do some clusters and create different levels with pieces of the collection. It is always good to also add some fancy floss or texture for more details.
