Hello Friends, Dorymar here today with some Christmas inspiration. Christmas is my favorite holiday, I adore documenting each activity with family and I always do several Christmas projects, today I am sharing with you a super easy project to do and perfect to document your Christmas days with the Fantastic “Dear Santa” collection from Carta Bella, check it out!
I prepared this flipbook from scratch, for the base I used the Ultra-White Linen Cardstock from Carta Bella. The measurements of the flipbook are 7.5x6x1.5, to create the base, I used two pieces of cardstock that measure 10x7.5 and two 6x7.5. I covered the outside of my book with the b-side of the “Stockings” paper.
To decorate the cover, I chose the lovely Santa included in one of the 4x6 Journaling Cards paper and fussy cut him, then I selected the journaling card that has Christmas postcard and I also fussy cut the message, then I put all of them together and adhered in front of the cover with foam tape to add the dimension that I love so much. I love how it turned out!
Inside I created several pages with flip-outs, pockets, and inserts, perfect for adding lots of photos but also for using this collection to the fullest. Although this project does not have a chipboard, it is super strong due to the thickness of the Carta Bella papers.
I love to include in my albums big pockets to add big pictures too. Inside of the cover I created a diagonal pocket with three inserts with different measures, this makes the pocket look more striking. To decorate the pocket, I covered it with a beautiful patterned paper of the collection and fussy cut a beautiful wreath included in one of the 4x4 Journaling Cards paper. To highlight the insert, I used a few gorgeous Frames & Tags of the collection.
The collection includes the cutest Santa’s I have ever seen. They all make my pages stand out in a very cute way.
The collection also includes beautiful patterns that combine perfectly with each other. In this pocket I created two cards to hold my photos but it is also a flip-out page, when you open it, you can find more space for pictures.
This Is the perfect layout to hold a traditional holiday picture. Below you can see the beautiful details that are included in the pages of this project.
